Well....its been a while since I posted anything....so much has happened since August 2010....Cody graduated from Basic Training and we attended in SC, it was so wonderful to be a part of that! After basic he went to AIT training in OK at Fort Sill. We went and picked him up and brought him home. Cody and I got tattoos while we were in OK. Something special we did together!!!! We were glad to have him come home...After he came home, he stayed with his mom for a couple of months and then came to live with us in Winnie on New Year's Eve...it was so awesome to have him with us! We had wanted to have him live with us when he was younger. It jsut wasn't meant to be at that time!

After he came to live with us, he had a relationship with a girl and she became pregnant. Well, it wasn't meant to be for them as a couple. She moved out not long after the confirmation of the pregnancy. It was April 1, 2011. I will never forget it because we thought it was an April Fools Joke. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise...Cody met Heather! The love of his life!

Jeff and I had known Heather for several years before Cody met her. We always liked her and thought she was a great girl!
