Well we have made it to Summer 2013! I wonder sometimes where the time goes. So much has happened since my last post. I lost my job in July 2012 due to strange circumstances. In September 2012, I accepted a position in Beaumont with Mason Construction as their Corporate Safety Director. I was very excited about this position because in Safety, all we really want to do is make a difference. Unfortunately, it was not meant to be and in May 2013 after completing a revamp of their safety procedures, I was laid off. I was upset. What could be happening? I know that safety is a business that doesn't have many fans although the intent is there, sometimes places are just not ready. I am a pretty opinionated person and so I am looking into myself to see what changes I can make to be a better person.
My grandson has arrived and he is such a blessing! He is now 10 months old and is the apple of my eye. He is so cute and Cody and Heather are great parents. I will try to post more blogs now that I am unemployed and actively looking for a job.
